There is something for everyone! Get involved!

Don’t underestimate the power of participating in school activities! Belonging to a club or joining an after-school program creates some of the absolute best memories of your school years.

Clubs & Academic Teams

  • Battle of the Books: 5th Grade | Read, test your knowledge, and compete against classmates and other schools!

  • Chess Club: After school | Learn strategy, practice your game, and compete in the county-wide tournament.

  • FIRST LEGO League: After school | Dive into hands-on robotics, teamwork, and creative engineering.

  • Garden Club: Before school | Get your hands dirty! Plan, plant, and tend to our flowers and vegetable gardens.

  • Music Club: Before school | Learn to perform, make music, and start your morning with a tune!

  • 5th Grade Creative Writing Club:  Before school / Express your imagination and sharpen your storytelling skills.

Leadership & Culture

  • Mandarin Chinese Class (K–5): Integrated weekly into our resource schedule! Students learn to speak, sing, and dance in Chinese.

  • Safety Patrols: 5th Grade | Take on a leadership role keeping hallways safe and guiding younger students to class.

  • ASL Inclusion Club : Grades 4-5  | An immersive experience to continue students to American Sign Language as a second language.

  • Mandarin Chinese Club: Grades 4-5 /  An immersive experience to help students to continue Chinese 

  • WatchDOGS Program: An incredible group of dads and granddads who volunteer daily, assisting teachers and bringing positive energy to our school culture.

Family & Community Events

  • Get Down at Gates: Kick off the school year during Teacher Work Week! Drop off supplies, grab dinner from a food truck, connect with the school community, and dance on the blacktop.

  • PTA Dance: A special tradition, usually held in February, where students and families dress up, dance, and celebrate together.

  • Book Fairs: Hosted by the library three times a year, giving students and families the opportunity to discover new favorite reads.

  • Books & Breakfast: Hosted by Mrs. Fluker, this event allows students across all grade levels to enjoy a good book while sharing a delicious breakfast with friends.

  • Family Nights: Interactive and fun evenings featuring a variety of topics, including math, literacy, technology, Legos, and more.

  • Inclusion Winter Program: Everyone Is a Star! A heartwarming winter performance celebrating inclusion and highlighting each student’s unique talents.

  • Field Day: Held in June, students spend the day outdoors competing in a variety of field events and enjoying time together.
